Sorry for not updating long time because I was too busy for school stuffs bruhhhh.  In order to showing apologize, I come back with this new post and BACKGROUND MUSIC of my blog for you!!!  You can read my blog with BTS songs playing background from now on.

Anyway, today’s post is part 2 of last post’s content, BTS Trilogy Series. 

 After the first formal album 《DARK & WILD》released BTS bring their fans with another trilogy series called The Most Beautiful Moment In Life Trilogy Series in 2015 to 2016.  The EP title respectively is 《The Most Beautiful Moment In Life, Pt.1》(2015), 《The Most Beautiful Moment In Life Pt.2》(2016), 《The Most Beautiful Moment In Life: Young Forever》(2016).  The Most Beautiful Moment In Life Trilogy Series in Korean is Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa, (화양연화).  I will use YHHY as the abbreviation in rest content.  So, let’s start!!

What is “the most beautiful moment in life” mean to you?  The moment when you said “I do” to that question?  The moment when you held your baby in arms and felt its warm?  Or the moment when you can rest in peace and recall all those old memories?  To BTS, the most beautiful moment in life is the time of our age – teenager stage.We shine our specific lights although the period is very short, just like butterfly and petals.  But we can’t deny that it is the most innocent, precious, and unique period, so it is worthy to memorize. 

However, there aren’t only beautiful and positive side in teenager time; sometimes more important is “the dark side,” the uncertainty, the fear, and the struggling somehow affect us more and shape us more.  Therefore, HYYH was born, BTS use trilogy series to describe the dark side among teenagers and also themselves.

The concept in first album HYYH Pt.1 states the shadow under the light of beautiful moment in adolescent time.  And they use their title song “I NEED U” to tell the story.  *CLICK* I NEED U-MV link  

The song describe a heartbroken boy shouting to the girl why she left him alone and let the boy loving her alone.  The trepidation toward his future and the heartbroken feeling of this relationship are well interpreted by lyric and the MV atmosphere.  
After the single released BTS caught everybody’s attention by the high quality music and profound MV story.  Also, the boys took their very first 1^st prize at Korean music shows with the song, which meant a milestone to BTS and the album as well.

Other good songs in this mini album to share with you:

*CLICK*Hold Me Tight – composed by member V and other members and it is V first joined to compose

*CLICK*Boyz with Fun – all member composed the song together except Jungkook; the song tells everyone this is BTS’s true color

Next year BTS released HYYH pt.2 featured the song “RUN,” *CLICK*RUN-MV link which also telling how the boy loves the girl to an inextricable extent.  Again, in this album they still depict the dark side in adolescent stage.  They show the struggling and irritation which can be seen only on young people one song after another.  In this album, BTS had already being prestigious and their fame started to catch people’s eye oversea.

*CLICK*Butterfly – this is my favorite song, it turns young age into fragile butterfly and elaborate their beauty and commiseration to adolescent period at the same time

*CLICK*Whalien 52 – here is a little story behind the song: the title is a combination of whale and alien, in 1989 human first recorded 52hz of whale’s sound, which is unique because ordinary whale’s sound is between 15-20hz, so people perceived that whale “the most lone whale in the world” and that’s why the composers Rap Monster, SUGA, and J-hope want to name the song like this, they want to states the loneness of a whale, which reflect on teenager’s loneness

*CLICK*Silver Spoon/Crow Tit – also known as "BaepSae" in Korean; the song shouts out against those adults’ critics toward teenagers that saying young people are all useless, lazy, and lacking of responsibility

The final album of the series is HYYH pt3, Young Forever.  It includes featured songs in previous two mini albums and adds three new songs – “Fire,” ”Save ME,” and ”EPILOGUE: Young Forever.”*CLICK*Young Forever- MV link  And I did some introduction about the song in my previous post.  Till this album BTS finally erased the dark side of teenager’s uncertainty and fear by the song “Young Forever.”  

Although life has so much hardships like the struggling between family and dream, love and school, or ego and society, there will always a light with hope at the end of the tunnel called finding self as long as we hold faith and believe each other, and that’s the message BTS want to convey to their listeners.  And the curtain of HYYH Trilogy descended with a perfect ending; BTS surprised Asia with their fantastic trilogy album and tasted the sweet of succeed.

Other good songs in this mini album to share with you:

*CLICK*Fire- MV link – a lit song sending the message of being yourself and fight back to those look down on you

*CLICK*Save ME- MV link – kind of EDM tropical house style song and beseeching to be saved; the reason why “ME” are all capital is because if we look ME from the mirror it will become “WE” so that means BTS need their fans support then they can keep walking on the road with fans together in the future

Three title song MV are all confused if you watch them first time even second, third time RESPECTIVELY.  Why I say that?  Because that is the reason why BTS will succeed of the trilogy – the story line of the albums and MVs are connected.  To make the story more completed, they released a 19 minute prologue movie between HYYH pt.1 and pt.2. 

I won’t explain the theory of the MVs because I believe everyone has their own interpretation about what those scenes represent, and that’s the pleasure for as well!

There are many theory explain video on YouTube, but if you don’t want to check those video, instead, you want to dig out the story by yourself I can give you some hint: cut those MVs, do not think one music video include one story part, the cause of this story part maybe found in another music video!  What’s more, you need to check next album 《Wings》from the song to album cover design so that the whole story can be explained well.

I hope I give you a well introduction about HYYH trilogy series because they are loved by the globe also by me, so I really put my heart into introduce them to you guys.  HYYH is really worthy to explore deeply because you will find many many theories, stories, messages, and those boys’ talents from MVs, lyrics, or even song titles in it!  That’s all for today’s post, see yall next post!!
